PHRM 716 Principles of Pharmaceutical Sciences

An introduction to the chemical and physical properties of medicinal agents as well as the basic principles of biochemistry concerning drug action, with a particular emphasis on the relationship between drug structure and its pharmacokinetic properties. Foundational principles of medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutics, and pharmacology will be introduced.
