LFS 0205 Work-Based Practicum I
This introductory course focuses on foundational skills needed for workplace success. Students will explore effective strategies for developing appropriate employment behaviors, understanding workplace expectations, and practicing professional communication. Emphasis is placed on brainstorming and problem-solving common workplace challenges, including interpersonal dynamics with co-workers and supervisors. Students will participate in a field experience, working up to 10 hours per week at a supervised worksite to begin applying these skills in a real-world setting.
