PHY 411 University Physics: Modern Physics II
This course is a continuation of
PHY 311 and surveys many subfields of physics, including atomic, condensed matter, statistical, nuclear, particle/high-energy, astrophysics, and cosmology. It provides an upper-level overview of physics at the smallest (particle/high-energy) to the largest (astrophysics and cosmology) length scales thereby providing the basis for a coherent physical understanding of the universe as a whole.
