MUS 315 History of Music I
Prerequisite: MUS 220. Survey of music from the Greeks to the Baroque c. 1700 with emphasis on the changing styles and forms of music through the study of compositions, composers, treatises, instruments, and performance practices. Extensive use of recordings and listening.
