APPE 735 Acute Care Pharmacy Practice MS
Acute Care Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE 735 courses) are a collection of courses designed to offer the student advanced experience in various inpatient practice settings that specifically include interactions with prescriber students, including medical students. Students are exposed to the role and responsibilities of the pharmacist in acute care practice and the importance of the pharmacist in direct patient care. Students will be expected to hone practice skills, professional judgement, behaviors, attitudes and values, confidence, and a sense of personal and professional responsibility to practice both independently and collaboratively in an interprofessional, team-based care environment.
