APPE 725 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice MS
Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE 725 courses) are a collection of courses designed to offer the student advanced experience in various ambulatory care practice settings that specifically include interactions with prescriber students, including medical students. Students are exposed to the role and responsibilities of the pharmacist in ambulatory care practice and the importance of the pharmacist in direct patient care. Students will be expected to hone practice skills, professional judgment, behaviors, attitudes and values, confidence, and a sense of personal and professional responsibility to practice both independently and collaboratively in an interprofessional, team-based care environment.
