Discussion begins with the instrumentalist and approaches to capturing the best instrumental performance. The semester concludes with comping, tuning & editing techniques to achieve a well-recorded instrumental performance. In-studio concerns are covered, such as social interaction, warm-up principles, efficiency without compromising creativity or musicality to reinforce the principle that time is money.""
