Major in any Communication Arts Field with Discipline-Specific Honors

Students must do all of the following in order to earn Discipline-Specific Honors in Communication Arts:

1. Meet the admission requirements for the University Honors program.
   1. 3.5 GPA
   2. At least 15 credit hours at the university level
2. Fulfill Honors contracts in three upper-level, content-based courses.
3. Complete the Honors thesis project (enrolled in COM 495).
4. Present the Honors project in the appropriate format.
5. Successfully defend the Honors thesis/project.
6. Satisfy the Honors Colloquium requirement as set by the Honors Community.
