NUR 421 Nursing Care of Adults in Health and Illness I
Prerequisites: NUR 318, 408, 409, 423. Professional nursing practice and further development in its application with adults from multicultural backgrounds along the wellness-illness continuum and emphasis on integration of pathophysiology and psychosocial dynamics with complex illnesses and human response patterns in the acute care setting. Use of critical thinking, decision making, and research will be incorporated into the teaching, caring, and collaborative role of the nurse.
