Catalogue Disclaimer

This publication is intended as a description of the academic programs and activities of Union University. While it is not an offer to make a contract, it is offered as a comprehensive description that can serve as a guide for students contemplating study or already enrolled at Union University.

The administration and faculty believe that the educational and other programs of the University described in this catalogue are effective and valuable. The ultimate results of programs offered in terms of achievement, employment, professional licensing, or other measures, are dependent on factors outside the programs, such as the personality and energy of the student, governmental or institutional regulations, and market conditions. Therefore, except as specifically stated herein, the University makes no representation or contract that following a particular course or curriculum will result in specific achievement, employment or qualification for employment, admission to degree programs, or licensing for particular professions or occupations.

In compliance with all applicable state and federal law, including provisions of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Union University does not illegally discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national origin, age, disability, or military service in admissions; in the administration of its education policies, programs, or activities; or in employment. Under federal law, the University may discriminate on the basis of religion in order to fulfill its purposes. Persons who believe their rights under this policy have been violated should contact the Title IX Coordinator, as indicated on our website at www.uu.edu/studentlife/accountability/title-ix/, or the Office of Human Resources.

In compliance with its duties under state and federal law, Union University makes annual reports of campus crime statistics, campus security policies, graduation rates, and completion rates for the Teacher Education Program. These reports are posted on our web site at www.uu.edu/studentlife/right-to-know/
