ART 217 Ceramics 02: Introduction to Wheel Throwing
Prerequisite: ART 216. Focus on the skill of throwing on the wheel, decorating and firing class. Students will produce a variety of forms including cups, bowls, plates, platters, pitchers and teapots. The student will fire and glaze 10 works in each form assigned while learning how to fire high fire gas kilns and begin the process of glaze calculation. Six studio hours per week.
