Teacher Licensure in Biology (Grades 6–12)
Students seeking Teaching Licensure must take
MAT 114 or
MAT 208 as part of the program prerequisites.
Major Requirements: 42 hours
Major requirements in the General Biology Major to include BIO 316 (or BIO 307 and BIO 309).
Students will take BIO 419 and an additional 300-level elective applicable to biology major instead of BIO 425, BIO 426, BIO 427.
Requirements: 12 hours
Membership in BIOME is required.
Professional Education: 39 hours
